The 2019 theme was “Be the Salt of the earth & Light of the World” ( Matthew 5:13-16 ). Encouraging and challenging the church to become a positive source of hope in the midst of all the difficult situations in the world. Sis. Ellen Cardenas Zareie, was the guest speaker.
October month in 2020 was dedicated to Mission and our guest speaker Sis. Ellen Cardenas Zareie, Operation Mobilization Greece (OM) missionary and one of the ministry leaders from WIN Greece, came to Stavanger to facilitate a mission workshop an celebrate 7th anniversary with us. She gave the church workers and insight on mission works and shared her experiences as a missionary, why we should be involved in missions, and what can be our mission field.
A great initiative from our young people to make handmade souvenirs and tokens to sell during the anniversary service to encourage everyone to take part in supporting the missions. Our youth is so talented and gifted people working together, sacrificed their time and energy to give glory to God. No complained about anything. Yes! All the late and tiring nights has paid off ! You all made our Lord smile preparing for this anniversary.
