We live in very challenging times with unprecedented needs across the world.   As we are called to “go, and make disciples of all nations…”, we see an opportunity in the midst of all the hardships to reach out to the needy and make the love of God known.  Whenever there is a need, a seed must be planted so that there will be a harvest.

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.  – Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 9:6-8

Partners in the work of Christ

We are so blessed here in Norway to live in a welfare state and we want to share the blessings with those who are in need. WIN Norway partners with the following organisations to reach out to more people, encourage them during difficult times and let them know that God cares for them.

Jesus replied,  “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’  This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’  – Matthew 22:37-39

WIN Athens, Greece

With the recent influx of refugees to Europe, particularly in Greece.  WIN Greece has faced the challenge to help the community and established their Refugee Support Ministry and Homeless Ministry.  With Greece being impacted by economic crisis as well, WIN Norway supports them by sending our mission support.

Youth & Children Ministry in WIN Infanta

Infanta, Quezon is a small province north-east of Manila, Philippines.  WIN Infanta is a local church supporting the local community through feeding program, teaching school children and involving the youth in music ministry.  WIN Norway supports the Youth and Children Ministry by providing financial support to for the needs of Sunday school like tables and chairs, materials and allowances for teachers.

Center for Sowing Seeds of Hope

CSOH Manila is a non-profit organisation created in cooperation with Word International to empower the marginalized communities in the Philippines.  WIN Norway partners with them to support deserving children get scholarships.

Missionaries Erwin & Ellen Cardenas Zareie

This husband and wife team are also ministry leaders in WIN Greece.  Ellen works in Operation Mobilisation and Erwin works as a translator and interpreter at IOM Greece.  Erwin came to Greece a few years ago as a refugee and came to know Jesus through the Refugee Ministry, now he is also serving as the head of Homeless Ministry.
